Who Were We Running From just dropped on Netflix and viewers are hooked. The Turkish crime drama follows a mother and daughter who are on the run, relocating from place to place to escape their mysterious past.
The series is filled with tension, drama and action with fans already hoping for a second instalment. So, here’s everything we know about season two of Who Were We Running From.
What is Who Were We Running From about?
The seven-part Netflix series follows a mother and her daughter, Bambi, who are living their lives on the run. The mother has a pretty shady background and is hiding some dark secrets, so she lives as a fugitive with her daughter and sees everyone and everything as a potential threat.
But, it becomes harder to stay under the radar when they leave a trail of dead bodies behind and as the season progresses, we learn more about Bambi, her mother and who they are running from.

The series stars Melisa Sözen and Eylül Tumbar, and it’s based on the book by Perihan Mağdenb titled Biz Kimden Kaçıyorduk Anne?, which translates from Turkish to ‘Who were we running from, Mom?’
Will there be a season 2 of Who Were We Running From?
Netflix hasn’t confirmed a second season yet as it’s only just been released, but given the success of the series, we have our fingers crossed!
If we do get another instalment, we can expect for it to be released next Spring at the very earliest.
Who might star in season 2 of Who Were We Running From?
Warning, spoiler alert! So, at the end of the first season, Bambi’s mother is killed in a shoot-out with the police meaning it’s unlikely that Melisa will return for a second season.
But, Bambi manages to escape with the money the two of them have stolen, so, we might see more of Eylül on our screens as the series is left open to explore more of Bambi’s story.
