Spring has sprung! We all jumped into action during Aries season, but now that Taurus season is here, it’s time we slow down a little. That’s what Taurus season is for! The Sun moves into Taurus on April 20 (yes, that's 4/20, ayyy 😎), putting us all into the mindset of the sign of the bull. Earth signs Taurus, Virgo, and Capricorn are thriving the most, while the fixed signs Leo, Scorpio, and Aquarius are having a busier month.

The Sun is in Taurus during the middle stretch of spring, making this one of the most ~fertile~ times of year, no matter your zodiac sign. Obviously that applies to the birds and the bees and nature, but this sentiment exists in other areas of your life, too. Think of that new job, or project, or relationship that you began during Aries season—this is the time to pay attention to it, nurture it, and help it grow into something more substantial.

Another great benefit of Taurus season is the bull’s stamina and perseverance. No matter your zodiac sign, you’re tending to these new projects or relationships, going very slowly, but not giving up. You aren’t seeing many instant results, but you don’t mind right now—you understand that slow and steady wins the race. Even though you aren’t making any major moves, you still know that you’re building up something great, and the anticipation you feel makes you motivated to keep going. Don’t rush anything during Taurus season. Enjoy the process!

There are two issues with Taurus season, unfortunately. The first is that starting on April 21, you’re dealing with Mercury Retrograde in Taurus. The second is you’re more likely to embody Taurus’s infamous stubborn streak right now. That’s an easy fix, though! Remember: It’s not always your way or the highway. You don’t have to be right. It’s okay to compromise.

It’s cuffing season! The Sun in Taurus is lighting up your chart’s relationships zone, so this is the time of year to get with someone else. That could be romantically of course, but this is also a great time to find a new best friend, or even a business partner. Here’s the thing, though: Mercury Retrograde. Yeah. That means you should take things very slow at first.

Work is, in a word, dreadful, this time of year. Taurus season wants you to organize, check everything off of your to-do list, and basically get your shit together. Approach everything from a practical point of view right now, and if something in your life isn’t efficient, fix it or nix it.

Capricorn

This is one of the best times of year for you, Capricorn, especially when it comes to your love life! Romance is easier to find, sex is better, and life in general just feels more fun—even Mercury Retrograde can’t get you down (hopefully). You’re also feeling way more creative now.
