Squid Game: The Challenge is heating up, with two contestants going head-to-head over their idea of what a team player looks like. So who is Ashley, aka player 278?
In case you need a recap, Ashley took centre stage during the Glass Bridge challenge, after she was reluctant to take part in the team tactics. The challenge saw the remaining 20 players pick a number at random - the order in which they would walk across the bridge - and give it to another player.
The bridge featured two sets of tiles: one safe to stand on, and one that would shatter, and equate to elimination. The players decided that instead of a single player walking across the *whole* bridge in their chosen order, they would take one step each, meaning every single player had to make one 50/50 decision, rather than doing the whole bridge.
Only, er, on Ashley’s turn, she refuses to budge, instead leaving Trey to jump again, and ultimately fall through the bridge. "I’m confused as hell because I don’t remember agreeing to this,” Ashley states in a voiceover. "I’m not sacrificing myself when I already have a low number. If it comes to me having to stand on one spot until y’all ass move past me and that’s the best thing for me, then that’s what I’m going to do."
