What has Harlan Coben said about Fool Me Once?
Author Harlan Coben recently opened up to Radio Times about working with Michelle Keegan on in Fool Me Once, and it essentially sounds like pure joy.
"She's terrific. She's also just a great person, but to have her as your number one and be able to bring, every day, something positive to the set, everyone loved her," he said. "She's exactly what you think she's going to be. She's really great.
"I knew a bit about her beforehand, but obviously I don't know her as well as my British counterparts. I took a deep dive when we were discussing who to play the role, and she really delivered - she works so hard and she's also just a delight on set."
What is Fool Me Once about?
Fool Me Once is an adaptation of Harlan Coben's novel of the same name and follows Maya Stern grieving the loss of her husband Joe, only to see him reappear in the nanny-cam she set up to watch over her young daughter.
Detective Sergeant Sami Kierce is leading the homicide investigation into Joe's death, whilst also battling secrets of his own. Maya's niece and nephew are dealing with their own mother's murder, which occurred a few months earlier, and they're on the hunt for answers. Is there any chance the two cases are connected?
Harlan Coben describes the series as a "pulse-pounder" and says it is "a shocking story of how secrets and deceit have the power to bring people together while simultaneously tearing them apart." We can't wait to see it!
