Love Is Blinds Lauren and Cameron declined to attend the S6 reunion
We're still talking about the Love Is Blind season six reunion after it dropped on Netflix on 13th March, and if you're like us, you might be wondering why season one's Lauren Speed and Cameron Hamilton weren't in attendance.
The reunion saw Sarah Ann and Jeramey reveal their relationship status, AD reveal she dated another cast member, the bean dip controversy be brought up again and more. Yep, it was a lot and we're here for the drama!
But, why didn't Cameron and Lauren go to the reunion, despite other couples from previous seasons attending? Here's everything you need to know.
Why didn't Love Is Blind’s Lauren and Cameron attend the season 6 reunion?
To catch you up, the season six reunion saw this series' couples discuss their relationships and time on the show. Plus, previous couples, such as Brett and Tiffany and Chelsea and Kwame, were sat in the audience and we got to catch up with them about their lives since Love Is Blind.
So, why didn't Lauren and Cameron go? Well, he's taken to his social media to reveal that they were invited, but respectfully declined due to prior commitments.
"First, let me say I love the Love Is Blind franchise, it’s how I met my wife and I appreciate the opportunity so much. It’s given me this wonderful platform so I’ll be forever grateful," he began in his post.
"We were invited to the season six reunion and we respectfully declined. We already were booked for that day. Also, I had only watched a few epsiodes of the show and I just wasn't motivated to keep watching," he added.
He continued that while he means no hate to the cast, he didn't enjoy watching season six as much as other series' and didn't find any couples he wanted to root for.
"On every season, there are people who are open to getting married, people who want to get famous and people who fall somewhere in the middle," he continued, adding there is more focus on the drama over the relationships.
