One Of Us Is Lying season 2 landed on Netflix back on the 16th November 2022, and fans were over the moon to see their favourite high school crime thriller back in action. But if you're looking ahead to more episodes, here's what we know about a potential season 3 - from release date to cast and what they've said about it.

Has One Of Us Is Lying season 3 been confirmed?

Er, no, and the bad news is NBC Universal's US streaming service Peacock, who originally created the show, have actually cancelled it. A report from Deadline on 24 January 2023 claimed "execs at Peacock were happy with both shows creatively but they just didn’t find the requisite audience to justify further seasons."

While that doesn't *definitely* mean the show has been cancelled, as it may well get picked up by another distributor, it is looking unlikely.

Season one originally aired on Peacock back in October 2021. Four months later, it dropped on Netflix internationally in February 2022.

In January 2022, NBC Universal/Peacock announced that One Of Us Is Lying had been renewed for a second season, as reported by Variety, before it dropped on Netflix in November 2022.

The official Peacock synopsis reads, "Following the heart-pounding conclusion of Season One, the Bayview Four have a very deadly secret. In season two we’ll see just how far they’ll go to protect their secret, themselves, and each other."

In a new interview with ET Online, executive producer Erica Saleh opened up about the season two finale, and why things ended the way they did. "We set up a really big mystery at the end of season one that really let people know what questions to be asking going into season two," she explained.

"And at the end of season two, there are maybe even more questions. What happened at graduation? But also what secret does Fiona know about Jake and what might Cole have done to protect that secret? How is high school going to end for these kids?"
