As if 2020 didn’t already give us enough drama, we’re now being treated to a tiff brewing between two Dance Moms alums—Brooke Hyland and JoJo Siwa. It’s honestly pretty random, so let’s dive riiight in.

Here’s the tea: Brooke went on TikTok and shared that Facebook suggested she friend none other than her infamous former dance coach Abby Lee Miller. In the vid, Brooke said, “Facebook telling me I have a new friend suggestion,” before showing off the notification and making an understandably awk face.

But JoJo wasn’t here for any shade toward Abby. In the comments, JoJo defended the coach and wrote, “It’s one thing to just not add her back, it’s another to post it….” Brooke must’ve agreed because she later deleted the post from her TikTok page. 😬

This isn’t the first time JoJo has taken to Abby’s defense. JoJo was literally talking about Abby last week in an interview with Us Weekly.

“I actually talk to Abby the most out of anybody from the show,” JoJo said. “She’s great. I think Abby got hurt by a lot of people and it’s really, really, really sad that a lot of the people don’t talk to her anymore.”

“It’s just sad because Abby really is a good person,” she added. “Even though you see her yelling and screaming at children on TV, like, Abby made seven stars. I wouldn’t be doing this if it wasn’t for her. Maddie and Mackenzie [Ziegler] wouldn’t be where they are today without Abby.”

Let’s be honest here, “even though you see her yelling and screaming at children on TV” is not exactly something to overlook or snuff at, but hopefully things between Brooke and JoJo are at least cool now.
