The Love Is Blind season six reunion was full of shocking revelations and updates, from Amy and Johnny revealing they do *actually* know what condoms are, to Trevor admitting he was seeing someone else while appearing on Love Is Blind. But, perhaps one of the most surprising things we learnt while watching the reunion is that AD and Matthew dated after her breakup with Clay. So are they together now?

In episode one of the show we thought we'd found our new golden couple of Love Is Blind when Matthew and AD instantly connected, after Matthew had had a string of awkward dates. Things were going so well in fact, Matthew told AD he wanted to ask her father's permission for her hand in marriage and wanted to leave the experiment with her.

It was an extremely emotional moment for AD, whose father had recently passed away prior to her joining the show. AD felt special and thought she had found her person in Matthew, that is until she found out he had said the exact same thing to Amber. Awks.

AD confronted Matthew about this, and he decided to leave the experiment to follow Amber who had left when she found out Matthew had said the same thing to both women.

Fast forward to the reunion, and AD admitted she's since seen Matthew since her wedding to Clay was called off in the series finale, after Clay said he didn't think he was ready for marriage.

So what happened between AD and Matthew? And are they together now?

In short, no, the couple are no longer dating. However, during the reunion which aired on 13 March 2024, AD revealed the couple had gone on two dates after her wedding to Clay didn't result in the pair saying "I do".

She said: "Matthew and I, we went on a few dates. Like two-ish. The first one he wanted to apologise to me. He was heartbroken; he was very, very upset about the way everything played out and the way he felt like he played in both of our faces."

AD continued saying she found him "kinda cute" while on their first date, and said they went on a second date, where Matthew cooked for her, making her a chicken and rice dish.

However, things were not meant to be with the relationship fizzling out between the pair, after their second date.

"We live completely two different lifestyles," she said. "He's very disciplined... he's extremely to the clock, every minute is planned out whereas I'm kinda with the wind a little bit, and he just wants different things and so do I, and we just left it right there."

So far Matthew hasn't said anything about the pair going on dates.
